In mid-January 2023 I went to Salzburg to photograph the winter wedding of Lavinia and Marko. It was my first wedding of the year and I was so excited! I had met Lavinia three months earlier over coffee where we went through the timeline and exchanged ideas. As a wedding photographer, it is very important to me to get to know my clients personally and to fulfill their wishes.

On 21.01.2023 the wedding day finally arrived. Lavinia's day started with getting ready at hair & makeup artist Anastasia Perfect Day. For the civil ceremony, she chose a modern midi dress by Jarlo, combined with Jimmy Choo shoes. To make the look winter-proof, she combined the outfit with a long beige coat. The white bridal bouquet from florist Dreams Atelier rounded off the look. What a beautiful and modern bride she was!

The civil ceremony took place at Mirabell Palace. We met an hour before the ceremony for some couple photos. As it was heavily snowing outside, we used the palace's magnificent staircase for the photo shoot. The guests arrived shortly before the ceremony began. The couple had decided to celebrate the day very privately and only invited their closest friends and siblings.

A pianist was playing romantic music as the couple entered the Marble Hall. While it was snowing outside, Lavinia and Marko said "I do". After the first kiss and the signing of the documents, they were warmly embraced by their guests. They then celebrated with their loved ones over good food in Salzburg before heading to the Holzhotel Forsthofalm in Kitzbühel for a short vacation.

I really enjoyed this intimate winter wedding and my 2023 wedding season couldn't have got off to a better start. I'm really looking forward to accompanying them at their big wedding in May!
