Wedding at Aiola im Schloss in Graz
On July 8, 2023, I got to capture Romana and Stefan's wedding at Aiola im Schloss St. Veit. The 12th century castle is located on the outskirts of Graz and is one of my absolute favorite locations in Styria.
The day started with the bride getting ready with her sister and maid of honor. She wore a wedding dress by the designer Daalarna, which she bought at feinstens in Linz. She paired it with gold earrings, which were also from feinstens, and classic strappy sandals.
Meanwhile, the guests were welcomed with an aperitif in front of the palace. The ceremony took place on the wedding lawn, with beautiful ivy-covered arches. Romana walked down the aisle with her mom, they said yes to each other, the rings were put on and with a kiss it was official - Just Married!
After the emotional ceremony, the bride and groom were saluted from all sides and the guests enjoyed an aperitif with an Italian buffet.
The couple's photo shoot took place in the nearby park and in the rooms of Aiola im Schloss. The romantic setting served as the perfect backdrop!
In the evening, dinner was served in the Spiegelsaal. The bride and groom entered the hall to the festive song Sara Perche Ti Amo and were greeted by their cheering guests. They then concluded the day with an excellent menu.
